i''m so sorry it took me so long to post my engagement thread! now that my work schedule is not as crazy and family stuff is almost over with, i have a chance to post my engagement thread!
my fiance proposed on sunday december 20th. i had to work that night which i was a little grumpy about since i had to drive an hour from where i live to get there. of course that day one of my managers was being a HUGE pain in everyone''s butts that night. so i was having a super crappy day at work and was looking forward to going home that night. i was getting into my car about to call my fiance to let him know i was off work and heading home when my phone rings and it''s him. he asks how was work, where i am etc and i told him i had a terrible day at work. i could tell he was in his car so i asked where is going/leaving. before i finished my question, he was standing outside my car! at first i thought it was my manager about to yell at me for something, but my fiance was standing there without a jacket on! needless to say i was SO shocked, wondering what the heck he was doing there. i got out of my car and he had a half-dozen roses for me and said he needed to ask me a question. i definitely knew he was going to propose since he drove all the way up there AND he waited 2 hours in his car to make sure he didn''t miss me coming out of work. he said that he would love to spend the rest of his life with me. he got down on one knee onto the freezing cold pavement and pulled the ring box out of his coat and asked me to marry him. i said YES YES YES furiously jumping up and down and squealing in happiness! it made my night a WHOLE lot better, and i couldn''t be happier!!!
my ring is a cushion brilliant on a simple diamond band setting. we plan on resetting it in the very near future with some of my fiance''s family stones, another fun project!
we are planning a summer 2011 wedding on the maine coast, i can''t wait!!!
ok here is what you''ve all been waiting for - pictures!!! i just got my first digital camera this christmas from my mom and brother, and it is AMAZING! i am having so much fun learning how to use it and taking cool pictures. hope you all enjoy them!!!
