My Leon Ring

I just got word from Leon that my ring is ready to pick up! I''m so excited I can barely concentrate! The only thing is they don''t have a picture to send me. I thought that was kind of odd. Don''t they always take a picture and send it to the customer?

I plan to pick the ring up today and I''ll post photos and specs when I get it!

I called and asked Rachel about the photo. She said the photographer is too busy. I thought that was really odd. Maybe Leon didn''t like the way it turned out, maybe it''s too small for his liking or doesn''t think it will suit his website, who knows. I''m a little unhappy that they didn''t send me a picture, since they do that for everyone else. Oh well...nothing I can do about that I guess. I''ll just have to take my own pictures.

Reading through the site, I think Leon says that he''s got this deal with the photographer: he (Leon) won''t take pictures, and the photographer won''t make jewellery...

Hi Goobear how exciting... Don''t worry about the picture, he did not give me one either. However, he later added pictures of my ring to his catalogue.

Don''t fret, I''m sure it''ll be gorgeous! I didn''t get a photo when my ring was ready either. I didn''t ask for one because his policy now is that you have to pay for it. Looking forward to seeing how it turned out!

We didn't get a photo either; I don't think it's common practise for him to do so.

Whew! Thanks everyone, your replies made me feel better. No worries now that I know not everyone gets photos. Fr some reason I thought they all did.

So I got my check...I''m going to leave here in about 15 minutes. I''ll let you know when I''ve got it in my hot little hands! Photos might have to wait until I get home, but I''ll see what I can do.

Ok, don''t kill me...I can''t post the photos tonight. I''m sorry. I took a ton of pics, I even got fancy with some holly. But my husband left the cord which is needed to upload the photos on my laptop. Ugh. MEN!

So I''m going to take our camera in work and I can upload the photos to my desktop there. I promise!

In the meantime, I''ll give you some specs:

Center stone: 1.75 Square Cushion Brilliant, Ideal cut, F color, SI1 (totally eye clean)
side stones, .32 & .31, VVS2 & VS1 E & F

All stones were sourced by Mark at ERD and all three were cut by the same cutter. Mark really is the best!
