Awww, yes the little things, really make me smile. I am sorry you are sick with a cold, and hoping that Snuggie keeps you warm and toastie Vesper. I am always chilly, hubby likes the heat down, I may get him to buy me one too for Xmas.

Imagine a comfy fleece blanket that has sleeves. So you are all comfy in fleece but your hands are free... It's a win win!! Cheesy but hey, I am all for comfort!!!!

I saw the leopard snuggie at Walgreens tonnight and I was tempted...so its really warm????
 
I have a slanket... the original snuggie... and I love it so much. It keeps me so toasty warm and I have my hands free to play on PS! WIN

OMG, I sooooooooooo want the leopard snuggie!! I can''t find it here anywhere.

I was watching Oprah when they showcased the whole story of the Snuggie phenom....and it was hysterical. I was trying to get warm with a blanket on my couch and it was a live Friday Oprah show and everyone was wearing Snuggies. That is where I fell in love with the leopard one.

It was an old idea and a minor investment for the infomercial that ended up with Pub Crawls on YouTube that catapulted the Snuggie into the stratosphere. The genius behind the re-marketing of an old idea became mega-rich and as I was trying to lean my arm over for the remote to fast forward through commercials, my arm was cold and all I could think of was "Dayum, maybe they are on to something!! I don''t even want to grab the remote because my arm gets cold outside my blankie." I''m all about looking geeky in a Snuggie.

Maybe I need to tell my daughter the leopard print is at Walgreens. Do we even have Walgreens here? Hmmmmmmmmm
 
wheni saw the snuggie for the first time i was like DOH! i''ve been doing that for years by wearing my fat furry robe backwards. the downside in that is my feet aren''r covered, but that''s easy enough to fix AND PATENT.

What a sweetheart of a hubby you have! I bought my brothers Snuggies amongst other things for Christmas this year, I know they''ll get a giggle out of it (odd sense of humour!) but I also know they''ll use them!!

My DH bought me a snuggie too. I was talking to him on the phone while he was out on his lunch break, and he said, ''Ooh I found a snuggie!''. I had to run off to a meeting and din''t get to finish the conversation, but when I got home there was a pink snuggie on the couch with the Confessions of a Shopaholic DVD tucked in the pocket.

It really is the little things that count. I love my hubby

I''m glad you like it Vesper, and I hope you feel better soon. I haven''t broken down and gotten a snuggie yet, but never say never. It may happen one day.

When I first saw the snuggie I thought it was silly and I still think the commercials are silly, but they are on to something. I have a snuggie at home. It is blue.

What they need to make is corporate snuggie or business snuggie. I am always freezing at work and it would be perfect because it would still allow me to type, but keep the rest of me toasty.
 
My FI bought me a slanket for my birthday this weekend! One of his coworkers told him that the minute I put it on, the passionate part of our relationship was over, but I think it''s a fair trade off for the amount of warmth I feel.

I''ve felt the fleece of a snuggie and the slanket fleece is far superior, and I think the slanket is larger overall too.
 
I want a Snuggie. I''m always cold and I don''t care if I look silly. I do think I''ll pass on the zebra print, however. My dog will not have a Snuggie. He runs out in the snow, throws himself on his back and kicks his legs in the air. He just loves the cold...well really, the snow

I don't watch television. Every once in a while that has its downside; I eventually catch up, however. Just look at how I am finding out what a "snuggie" is :-).

oooh, Yummy. I totally want one, but after making a ton of fun of it, I doubt my dh will shell out the $20 or so dollars they cost. lol recently, I bought a warm long sweater with a tie waist that is just as warm and a bit more fashionable.

I bought this Slanket.... OMG... it is made of the thickest, most soft fleece and it has a foot pocket in the bottom to keep your feet warm and a "kangaroo pocket" like on a sweatshirt. It is so awesome! It is a bit more expensive, but feels so much of a higher quality than the Snuggie.
 
LOL it''s hilarious, and ugly looking (a croc you wear on your body) but they got something there. My oldest daughter saw the infomercial and keeps telling us she wants one! She''s like me, cold-blooded, huddling under a throw/and or cuddling with me while we watch tv or read a book, while my youngest (like my husband) throws blankets off of herself.

They have some for sale for either $12 or 14 a local grocery store. They are so ugly I don''t want to buy it, but I know my daughter''s face would light up too if I got one for her.
 
My new favourite thing is my microwave wheat filled pig.

I love him. He is super snuggly and keeps me warm. His name is Piggy aka, Piggy Smalls aka the Notorius P.I.G.

It is a love affair. My DF thinks I am more than odd when we have conversations together. My life is that sad. I think Piggy and I would love a Snuggie.

OK those commercials are so silly! I laugh hysterically every time I see them. But such a thing is really needed when the weather gets icky that''s for sure!
