I’m going to the pound today and I’m only allowed to come home with ONE kitten. :kiss2:

Who does that that kind of cruel crap to their wives?

That's terrible, House Cat!

Start an online petition for you to have more and we will all sign it! Who does that man think he is, setting kitty-limits? :lol:

I just ignore mine. I was told I could only have 6 chickens. I have 20 now.
:lol::lol::lol:

I just pictured my house stuffed full of kittens. When he came home from fishing today and opened the door, kittens would come tumbling out.. :lol:

Hahahahaaaaaaa!

Get two. Tell him you're hearing is bad and you misunderstood what he said; your eyesight is bad and you didn't see the 2nd one go into the carrier; you stink at math and miscounted then hand him something nice you picked up for him on the way home, smile sweetly, and go play with the kittens.

After the big argument with your old man, and the flying fur settles, we require photos of the new kitten(s).
I hear they only come in pairs.

What if you just HAPPENED to find a pair that were bonded and couldn't be separated? They were orphaned and raised together from birth so it would be traumatizing to separate them. Or one is special needs that depend on his/her sibling. Or one cries all night long when separated from the other one. They were the very last 2 kittens at the pound!

This is not my first time at the rodeo :mrgreen2::mrgreen2::mrgreen2:

Babyblue :lol::lol::twisted:

A good rescue only adopts them out in pairs. Just tell him they wouldn't let you leave with only one. You had the choice of two or three so you used your best juedgement and decided two were better than three.

Hahahaha totally need 2. Bonus if they look alike. Just say it's 1 cat and he's hallucinating.

OMG Arcadian, that's fantastic!

What??? You tell your DH you're going to the pound? :lol:

Not me! No way! I dont need/want the lecture! <sticks fingers in ears...la la la la, I cant hear you>

I was a good and dutiful wife. I want him to say “yes” to my future visits to the pound. I have plans, lots and lots of plans. My youngest is 13 and I’m a stay at home mom. When he leaves for college, I will need company.

What should I name her? She was so precious! She was on alert due to all of the barking but I was able to get her to relax and purrrrr. At one point she rested her lil head in my hand and began to sleep and purr and i knew she was the one.

I can’t bring her home until Monday evening. The torture!!

OMG, @House Cat, that is the most kitty-licious thing I have ever seen!!

:kiss2: Adorable. Looks as though she might have a bit of Ragdoll or Main Coon in her. She looks like an Emme.

She is a precious doll!!!
We had a two cat rule but a stray, hungry:rolleyes2: kitten showed up at work and we now have three.......And I still have a husband!

:love:Awwwwwwww what a little cutie. Thank you for rescuing a poor mite from the pound. I’m sure she’ll have a wonderful life with you and your family.
Start small (one) and work your way up! That’s my tried and tested advice

She's beautiful! I am so envious. I may have 3 poodles but I am a cat person at heart.

I really think you need "his" and "her" kitties. Tomorrow is Father's Day, I can't think of a better gift than a second ball of fluff ;)2.

Omg she is freakin adorable, I don't know what you should name her but make sure it's part of a pair :P2

That’s what I thought. Rag dolls and Maine Coons are two of my favorite breeds. Ok..who am I kidding? I love all cat breeds. This baby girl was extra sweet!

Last week, I tried to adopt this cat but it was gone by the time I could get there. I LOVE its face!
