My furbaby!

DH & I have been thinking about/talking about getting a dog for a while now. We decided to go ahead and adopt the weekend before Christmas. We went to a local shelter and found our Miley!! She is a mini Dachsund. Her and her brothers and sisters were dumped on the side of a road a few days before we saw them at the shelter. How could anyone abandon animals that way?! I was furious, but glad to help out one little furbaby. I wanted to take all of them, but I knew I couldn''t. She is 7 weeks and here she is! Sorry in advance for the pic overload, I''m a proud parent!!

Awwww....thanks for starting this thread. I think both you and Miley got the best Christmas presents - Miley gets a loving home for Christmas and you and your DH get to enjoy her. It just works all around! I love the pics and her cute puppy expressions- the ones with her sleeping on her back with her little legs in the air are particularly adorable.

And I love the one of her looking curiously at the camera too..
