My first pair of Diamond studs!

Dh decided that he wanted to get me REAL diamond studs for Mother's day this year, because I've been rocking CZs for years. He finally made good on his promise....but had a LOT of input from me!

So here they are: BGD signature cut, both J VS2 and 0.85 tw. Set in 8-prong platinum setting and Jumbo backs because I have small and thin earlobes!

Thank you! and can I just mention that I was concerned that 8 prongs would overwhelm the size of the diamonds, but the prongs are so delicate, I barely see them when they are on, and they just enhance the overall diameter of the diamonds!

I'm glad to hear you say this (and I totally thought the 8 prong was awesome when I saw your pics), I'm having a .75 OEC set in a 6 prong pendant setting and I was a bit worried that the stone might be overwhelmed by the prongs but now I'm not concerned at all.

Thank you all for the lovely comments. I'm thankful for my non-existent earlobes which make these starter size earrings look substantial (for now) . The 8 prongs also make this comfy to wear....It feels like wearing round studs. I definitely recommend the setting!

You're right! I went through all 28-29 Pages of the studs and yours stood out as the perfect size for my earlobes, and a great size with your beautiful diamond jackets! Guess what is on my wish list for Christmas
