My Fat Pear Aquamarine Ring

Another cocktail ring for me, set by Daniel M.

I got the untreated 2.53 ct aquamarine, Santa Maria Brazil origin, from Mastercut Gems during one of their sales. Really didn't figure out how to set it until I got the sticky lid boxes from Yvonne and started playing around with the melee gems I had. I decided on halo with alternating 1.5mm gray spinel from Burma and 1.4mm emerald from Afghanistan, which I think is untreated as well.

I don't know which way to wear it, point up or point down, but I really love the flashes of light from the aqua!

Lovely ring - I love the color play between the emeralds and the aquamarine. Maybe it's just me, but jewelry can elicit a feeling - just like a song. Your ring is happy.
