As part of my engagement ring process, I am sharing experiences I have had. I am doing so in pieces, as I have yet to take photos of the ring, for one big post. The ring I did purchase was a 1.56 ct SCHA from GOG set by Leon Mege. The ring came out great.

I was searching for Square Cushion H&A and was out of luck -- no inventory. I was just poking around Pricescope and learned of Geoffery's in San Carlos, CA (near San Francisco, 650-591-0301). I was talking with Nikko Khandari ([email protected]) about other diamond options he would suggest (since no SCHA around).
2 days later, Nikko sourced a Square Cushion H&A. He did so proactively, not at my request. They fit my price point exactly and were the middle ground I was looking for. Afterwards, he was very responsive via email as I badgered him a few times. He was very fast -- I was on a short timeline. The diamonds were as Nikko described. Importantly, pricing was attractive. There was no BS haggling, which I appreciated significantly (I was educated consumer at this point). On the negative side, Nikko did not have the data that GOG provides (videos, great photos, scopes etc.). He offered to put that together for incremental fees (understandable on my end given the pricing).
I ultimately did NOT buy from Nikko. I paid for shipping and the refund was processed quickly.
Although I did not buy from Nikko, I am giving him a shout out as 1) I feel him to be no BS, 2) fast/honest, 3) responsive via email and 4) was able to source Square Cushion H&A on expedited basis.
