My antique pendant

My antique diamond, pearl and blue stone pendant: my local jeweller and me suspect that the blue stone is not original because it's too clean and the color is too vibrant, it could be a synthetic sapphire, while the pearl is compatibile with the pendant age; the pendant is made of silver and yellow gold.

Very pretty! Looks to me like an Edwardian piece. I agree that the sapphire is almost certainly synthetic, but synthetic sapphires were around by that period, so it's possible it's all original.

Some diamonds seem to have a blue hue, that's because I was wearing a blue sweater when I took the pictures.
