Moved in!

Just wanted to post a little update: today, we''ve officially moved in together! There are still a LOT of boxes all over the place, and it''ll probably be weeks before we really feel settled, but we''re here and it''s our place and it''s awesome

I have the same "small walkable path" situation going on that you do

Good luck getting everything organized! It''s so hard combining my whole apartment into his whole house... it was pretty full of furniture, etc. already! Especially since we both loved to cook before we were ever together... we both have everything you could POSSIBLY need for a kitchen, down to having TWO Kitchenaid stand mixers!! It''s an adventure for sure

Congrats to you, too! You know, if you ever need to let go of one of those stand mixers....

We just moved into a condo that is smaller than either of our previous apartments, so that''s a challenge. We ditched a lot of the furniture before moving, but now we''re realizing that we said "oh, that will go in the spare bedroom" for just about everything...the spare bedroom is now full, floor-to-ceiling, and not serving as the office/game room/guest bedroom that we thought it would be. That''s today''s project. You can bet I''ll be lurking around here on my many breaks from figuring that out!
