Yes HCA will work for light return - and they are (as most branded cuts are) cut for yeild.
The more is better theorem is a marketing angle.
If these stones were +5 or 10ct then there could be a reason to do this. Below 1 ct it will "grey" the stone. But if you like it then go for it - but try to use an ideal-scope and or HCA.
You should also compare them to well cut rounds, and for that purpose a $30 investment in the ideal-scope will help.
( I will be accused of spruking again, but really, is there an easier way or better advice that I am missing?)
