Both are very pretty! My engagement ring is like the second setting and I love looking at the ring especially the crown with all the little diamonds. Does your girlfriend have a pinterest or instagram? I would see if she has liked any settings or rings on either site.

I second the opinion of the Cassie_ann that suggested to check out if she has anything on her pinterest or IG to help decide between the halo and petite crown.

I personally like the look of the petite crown . . . more timeless perhaps.

What is her finger size?

bz if her finger size on the larger size a halo can give more finger coverage which often looks nice on the hand.
