Mossanite??

know I should take it into a jeweller but ours are closed right now unfortunately. Does this look like a mossanite? I know sometimes you can tell my the refractions I was told, but to me, I havent a clue lol. What's your thoughts?

Hmmm...it actually looks like (lab?) white sapphire to me. Moissanite throws off more fire than diamond so it should be shooting off rainbows and I don't see any double refraction (although well cut moissanite minimizes this look). I don't think it's CZ either because it would also have some fire, but not as much as moissanite. White sapphires tend to have a glassy look like this stone does...All that being said it could just be the way the stone is photographed that it has no fire / dispersion, but would I put my money on sapphire.

ETA: I say this as a person who has or has owned precision cut moissanites, sapphires, and CZs.
