Hey Gang. Thought I'd post here in "Hangout". I signed back onto PS for the first time in eons and it feels good to "see" some familiar faces.

In the meantime, I have missed you all! I'm sorry that I have not had a ton of time in the past year to post. We are building a house and trying to sell the one we are in. Not easy! Very time-consuming. I've gone from sketching necklaces and rings to sketching kitchen, bathroom, and fireplace designs.

Hope the holiday season is a joyful one!

Ha-ha! Thanks Harriet. I''ve missed a whole year of excitement. You must be married, in a new condo, and the proud owner of an impressive collection of jewels by now.

Do you have a thread called "My Favorite Baubles" or something similar?

I''m all grown up. I don''t need enabling anymore. I do have a terrible new habit -- loose gems. No such thread. Aside from my e-ring, I have a wedding band and 2 gemstone rings from Leon. Have you seen them?

My wedding band is a plain old skinny micropave eternity. Here''s my spinel, courtesy of Leon: http://www.artofplatinum.com/4images/details.php?image_id=458 And my tsavorite: http://www.artofplatinum.com/4images/details.php?image_id=469 C''est tout.
The spinel is a real eye-catcher! Wow! The tsavorite is understatedly elegant - well-done!

I''m sure you are thrilled. They are gorgeous rings that you can pass down to generations to come. The best ring of course is the wedding band, right? I wouldn''t trade mine for the world, and I''m sure you feel the same.

Actually, the spinel is on the market since I''ve found a better and bigger one. The tsavorite is my pet. Thank you for the compliments. You''re right about the band.

On the spinel, what does "mushroom pave" mean? Have you found a good resource to sell it? I wouldn''t be surprised to see it in the Sotheby''s Magnificent Jewels catalog for December because it is really stunning. I can hardly believe you found one bigger and BETTER!

It''s the type of pave that uses the least amount of metal (compare bead set). I''ll probably go through one of the auction houses'' private sales departments. Aw, thanks, but I didn''t submit it in time (I''m in no hurry). It''s crazy, right? I have an absolutely awesome dealer.

Starry!!! Those are NOT good excuses for leaving us for so long! You need to check in more often!
