Linda, can you believe that I haven''t been able to see the baby or my daughter for a WEEK! ACK, I am going insane. I came down with a wicked evil cold and I haven''t seen them since last Wednesday. It sucks so bad. I think I am finally over it enough to feel safe that I won''t pass on the illness, but I still have a slightly productive cough and a lingering of the body blues. I beg my daughter to take pictures of her everyday and email them or post them on Facebook for me to see. Look at this cute one she posted today. Veda is as snug as a bug.

LOL Janice, I know how you feel. When my grandboys were babies, especially my first grandson, I used to go crazy when I was sick and couldn''t see him. I had my daughter put the phone to his ear, so I could talk to him gently and sing to him. ha ha ha ha.

I hope you feel a lot better soon, so can hold and kiss your precious Veda.

Well, now that I got my daughter her PushPresent, it''s time for Gramma to get her bling on. (As opposed to Klingon ?).

I did an impulse buy, but I am going to cancel the sale to day and do everything the PS way. Wish me luck..send me lots of PS diamond dust for courage.

As far as PushPresent, I think I even raised the bar for myself. Now when I am with my daughter, I see her ears and I think..hmmmm, I wonder what those Legacy''s would look like on MY ears. That reminds me, I think I''ll try to find out tomorrow.

I''ll ask her to let me try them on.

I looked up the GIA report on the pendant stone I purchased (I just found out today that you can look those up on line...duh) and ran it through the Holloway Cut Advisor. Baby steps. I still don''t know what I am looking for yet. I sort of wish that I would have tried on the actual earrings and spoke with the jeweler today but he wasn''t there and of course, a different girl that was there, told me they didn''t get my voice mail.

I told her that she should have the jeweler call me. I''m still waiting for the credit to hit my account. Diamond buying can make a person prematurely gray..for sure.

I have to say, I do love that "Veda" comes right before "Vegas" so that I can find her pictures really fast in the folder. She is three months old now. She is thinking "Hi Gramma, I love that you are going to spoil me rotten and drive my Mommy crazy".

Linda, OMG, now I know what you mean about the Gramma thing. DD has to go back to work on Monday 1/4 and I was fretting over the two days a week that she needs day care. I am okay with the arrangement, but I still worry over them being apart. I stayed home with DD for a year. I wish my daughter could do the same.

I have some pictures of London when she was about 18 months and she''s got the tail of a little stuffed dog in her mouth and she''s making this hysterical grrrrrr face-she looks so mad and it''s so funny!
