OMG, I had so much fun with SanDiegoLady today!! I have never spent so much time in a shoe store. Michelle has some sexy feet.

It wasn''t hot, but I was trying to act like the shopping was so laborious. It was really hard to carry all the bags.

And the boots were such a great deal and actually fit and looked good on me (a rarity), that I got them in black and brown. But my favorite are the blingy pair that SDL found. They are so comfortable, it''s amazing. They are my Vegas shoes.

Me too!! But my hair is looking really reddish in that one. It may be time to get my hair done again. It was cheaper to be a blonde. But I am getting used to my brunette-ness.

I ended up getting two new wallets (couldn''t decide between the two-bright blue and blue-green), and lusting after two purses and some shoes. I think BF might spring for the shoes (silver peep toe pumps) and they are on sale. Wohoo!

No time for other shopping. It was hard work and time consuming to look at al the aisles in DSW!! I was fortunate to find three pair on the sale racks. I was bummed that they didn''t have a cute pair of black Jessica Simpson shoes in my size.

Next time I am going to look for some bronze shoes and some with color. We have plenty of time to go clothes shopping in the future

I''m glad you bought both wallets, I did that with my boots. When in doubt...get both!!

I have a very busy month coming up. I have to do this business trip this week. Return to stack and stacks of work from being gone so long and we have our Annual Walk for Peace/Friendship Festival in September. We have to rename it with the Friendship Festival because we need to make it clear that this is NOT a protest and we don''t allow any protest signs as this is primarily a kid function with all kid performers and kids group as sponsors. I am in charge of setting up the Kintera pledge site that the Susan Komen walk uses and the AIDS walk uses. When I set that up last year, the amount of FUNraiser catapulted and the event was so successful, even though it was a rainy day. It downpoured just before the walk and then the clouds parted and the sun shined through and it was a blast.

I need to get busy setting up my donation page and sending out emails. I am competitive and I got beat out last year by one other person for the highest amount of money. Boo.... I heard the person who got the top spot already has her profile up and is gathering hers, so I need to get my booty in gear. I am afraid that most people are tapped out after my daughter''s wedding, but I am sure I can get at least $25 bucks out of some of them.

I cannot wait to be there again this year. It is such an inspirational event and the kids are amazing.

BF bought me new shoes today. They are in the "Shoes..." thread over in shopping, but I can post more pics if you like. I still can''t figure out which are my skankiest shoes. I have #1 and #2 picked out, but one is a stripper heel and the other is almost an innocent S&M looking shoe...What makes a skanky shoe?





...and D told me today that he has more than enough $ for an ering, and gave me permission to start looking/inquiring for a stone...very excited...

Honestly?? I don''t think there really is a skanky heel. I suppose the closest would be the clear acrylic stripper shoes with a large platform that can be opened so you can put your cash in it. If there were cash and condoms in that platform, I suppose that could be considered skanky, eh?

Oh he will. I knew he would. But I thought he would be more sly.

I am having a hard time packing for my business trip. Blech. I was going to wear a nice green shirt with my black suit pants that I just got back from dry cleaning for the reception tomorrow night, but when I unwrapped the shirt, I see that the oil stain or something that I got on it didn''t come out.

So now, I am thinking about my dress, but then I would require another pair of shoes. So far I have one pair of tennis shoes for the flight, one for golfing on Saturday morning (and I don''t gold), black for my suit on Friday at the conference and brown for my dress. That many shoes will make my clothes stink.

I need to come up with another plan. Maybe go shopping in Seattle tommorrow since I will have 5 hours to burn? But then again, I am really looking forward to taking a bath. Since I still don''t have my master bathroom back together, the only time I get a bath is when I am away at a hotel. Last one was at my daughters bachelorette party in Vegas.

I love the silver shoes too!! I love both of them, and the dark ones too. Those are haute!

Purple is my favorite color. But I am so in love with those Chinese Laundry floral print shoes with the red trim.

I want something that I can wear with a lot of things. Something funky with lots of colors in them. I am going to buy a pair one of these days!

I hate to pack for trips when I have no idea how others will be dressed. Ugh. And I don''t think I am bringing my laptop. That means I will have PS syndrome until late Saturday night. I think I am addicted to this forum.

It sure is enabling my procratination.

I need to make decisions dangit. I should have taken more clothes to the cleaner. And, I can''t find the necklace that matches my earrings for my suit.

I do love the red spangled floral shoes in that thread. I have something very similar-the style and look-only white with blue flowers and green leaves. I love them. They are fabulous though. You should check out Naughty Monkey-their shoes are always a bit crazy, colorful and out of the norm.

I hate packing too, I always end up taking way too many shoes (for 3 days in Vegas I wanted to take 3 heels, and 2 pairs of normal shoes for walking. I wore one pair of shoes. And I came back with two more than I started with. Hah! Not to mention clothes. I know what you mean about having a PS addiction. I''m right there with you.

I am going back and forth between the garage, where my dryer is, the closet in my bedroom, the suitcase in the living room along with the computer and the T/V to watch gymnastics in the family room. But I am in my trusty flipflops.

I just feel like everytime I go up to this company, they see me in the same Banana Republic suit, so I have to change up my shirts. I need to try on my pants tonight to make sure I am bringing the right shoes. And my Mother...my beloved Mom. If I want her and my StepDad to pick me up at 6:45 a.m. I have to tell her 7:15 because she is always AT LEAST 30 minutes early. For the wedding rehearsal, I think she got there three hours early. On purpose. Just to make sure.

It''s sort of funny as it is a running joke. I alwasy tell my StepDad...."DO NOT get here too early because I will still be packing" He always says "Tell your Mom, I can''t help it, she makes me". They are so funny. So I think I am not even going to bother to shower...I mean I can just put on deodorant and shower when I get there.
