Just received my newsletter and I'm drooling over these already. I cannot copy and post the photos but the pyrite is my favourite! The galena is a very close second.

Wow, the pyrite is magnificent! And I certainly would not kick the scapolite out of my bed either!

They are so interesting, Chrono. Constantly amazing, the variety Nature produces. The pyrite's just beautiful & the galena -- I could look at both of them all day. I like the scapolite too & the coprolite -- looks like a dog print. Some of the cabbed crystal quartzes are so fantastic!

The iridescent scapolite is my favourite. I wonder how fragile a piece like the galena specimen would be.

Chrono: If I'm remembering correctly, you have bought from them before, right? Can you say a little about the accuracy of his pics vs. the stones in hand? I am tempted so often by his stones. TIA.

Thanks for the link, I dig this site. Which pyrite did you like the most? I'm more attracted to the bottom one, but I always like the cubical pyrite specimens best, especially the Spanish ones still in the matrix - some are flawless cubes! Here's a strange spherical one I got from Blaze.

I purchased from ATGGems nearly 10 years ago and found their photography accurate back then. Given that I have not purchased or ordered anything since, I do not know if his photography is still accurate. I almost purchased a lovely precision cut green (with hardly any yellow) Mali garnet when he discounted it several months ago but thought it still rather expensive.
