Back in 1945 a Colorado farmer butchered a chicken, but had bad aim with the axe.
He should have aimed a little further down the neck.
He missed the jugular and left much of the brain stem.
The chicken didn't die.
It went on to live for over a year and toured America making its owners thousands of dollars.
