Memoire - who cares them and where are the best deals?

Hi, my gf and I have picked out the engagement ring and wedding band - it will be the Memoire Purity collection engagement ring and wedding band. I am shopping around to get the best deal - I found out a few months ago that pearlmans carried Memoire but I dont see it on their site anymore. Anyone know if they still do? I have sent them an email and will try calling as well to confirm.

In case they dont what other vendors sell this collection at a good price? I think pearlmans and them going for around 3100 each and I wouldnt have to pay for taxes since they are located in michigan. I am going to get a 1ct - 1.20 ct diamond for this ring perferrably from the same place as the band/ring so that it is all covered under warranty.

please do not suggest any other rings as we have decided this is the one.

As far as I know Pearlman''s still carries the Memoire line. Call them tomorrow for info. Memoire is top notch, nice choice. Good luck!!

does anyone know if pearlmans is the best choice out there for someone looking to buy memoire - as far as price/quality of diamond are concerned?

also what do you all think about buying a diamond without seeing it in person? we''ve seen and the gf has tried on the memoires.. but if i go with pearlmans i wont be able to see the diamond since it is 10 hours away from me...

pearlmans is very competitive in pricing and I believe they will now pricematch or possibly do better than other advertised pricing so I'd easily choose to go with them first. fancynancy recently got two quotes for memoire, one from Quest, went ahead and placed her order with them, then pearlmans quote came in lower. as for choosing your diamond online, I bought a stone from pearlmans site unseen, but I did have an AGS report and Bill's eyes to tell me what is what like. they specialize in ideal cuts, tells them your budget and what you are looking for, if you want an AGS000 or Gia ex/ex and they'd get it. they will also take pics and email you the cert, although they don't have all the other detailed analysis like some of the other vendors here, they can still provide you a top notch ring. If you do decide you want more info on a stone than they can provide you can also purchase from GOG or Whiteflash and have them send the stone to pearlmans for the setting.

can you please provide the website URL for quest and any other vendor that sells memoire - i tried solomon brothers but they didnt show the memoire purity collection. ill use this info when getting my quote from pearlmans to confirm that it is the best deal and see if they can possibly beat any prices.

for the diamond - isnt it better to get the diamond and ring from the same place so it is all covered under warranty? also im not sure if i can afford an ideal cut diamond since i may want to go on the higher side of my diamond size range of 1.25 ct...
