I need someone to help me on this. I bought a diamond ring, .71 Cts. for center stone, it is an SI1 with a color of E. Measurements are 5.98 x 5.93 x 3.35. First question is: are those good measurements for a diamond that is .71 Cts.? Also, is the EGI certificate any different on their grading standards?
What would a good price be for an 18Kt gold ring with 8 side stones total weight .46 Cts and center stone .71 Cts?

what is the shape of the stone? do you have any measurements of the table crown and pavillion?

it is a brilliant cut

brilliant, no other measurements avail.

Its hard to come up with 'whether its a good stone or not' based on that information. If you new the angles, you could find out real quick with the cut advisor link at the top of the page. But E sounds great

and I'm sure its an eye-clean SI1!!

The only non-GIA or AGS certified stone going on PriceScope right now that is 0.71 E SI1 is going for $2281, discounted for PriceScope from about $2400. It's hard to say what the setting should cost without knowing more about it.

The average well-cut 0.71 carat stone has a diameter of 5.7mm, give or take a tenth of a millimeter. Therefore, your stone must be cut shallow. The plus side of this is that it will look bigger -- more like a 0.78 carat. The downside is that it is less likely that it has a good cut that will make it sparkly.
