Maya Tulum Retreat & Resort, Tulum, Mexico

I'm planning a long weekend getaway with some friends at the end of January to someplace warm, since we all live in cold-weather climates. We came across the Maya Tulum Retreat & Resort in Mexico and we are very intrigued. I can't say we're avid yoga enthusiasts, but we are all in need of some serious R&R and this resort seems to fit that bill.

I was wondering if anyone here has ever been? If so, was it worth the trip?

(I'm also a little curious if they serve wine, because a vacation without wine, is no vacation in my book )

I've not been to that resort but the Mayan ruins at Tulum are amazing. Tulum is the only Mayan excavation that's on the water and it's just breathtakingly beautiful.

If the yoga retreat center strictly follows yoga principles, I doubt there'd be alcohol of any kind, including wine, but you can always ask if that's a dealbreaker for you.
