Matching rings don''t match....

I ordered an eternity ring several months ago...loved

it... and decided I *needed* another matching one to flank my ring!

So, I ordered the identical thing....BUT they are very different. The diamonds are obviously different sizes, the width and height are different as well. I know each ring will have it''s own characteristics, but these don''t MATCH in any way (other than style) which was the whole plan!!

I waited for a month for the ring, and now I''m going to have to call them, and send one or both back to them.....ARRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!! I''ve had a bunch of people check them out, and everyone can tell the difference, so it''s not just me being all OCD about it!

Just wanted to whine a little to people who understand....maybe I''ll see if I can get some pics so you can see what the heck I''m talking about!

BUMMER, Tawn! Is this a designer brand? I''m surprised there is so much variation!

I''m so sorry. If I remember correctly they were from SP?? Or have I lost me mind?? That''s so odd the new one is different from the other one?? What up with that???

They are both from SP, and lovely and similar....but they aren''t the same matching ring. The old one has little holes around the inside the band (for light?) and the new one is solid on the inside?!

I hate having to complain, and then having to wait another month isn''t appealing either!

But they are too different for me to enjoy and/or wear together....which was the idea in the first place!

I''d call SP in the AM, and explain your displeasure. Hopefully they can put a rush on your new ring. The holes aren''t for light, I had thought that too. It''s more for cleaning purposes. Or that''s what I was told on here. Anyway, good luck and hope you don''t have to wait too long before you get the matching ring.

sorry tawn. Definitely call and let SP''s know. I''m sure they will take care of it, but I know it''s a bummer to have to send it back.
