I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on how to match eternity band diamonds to my engagement ring diamond. I got a GIA 1.25 diamond e in color, excellent cut, and SI1 clarity. Do I need to care about the clarity or cut of the enternity band diamonds becuase they will be so small? I was thinking I should only really worry about matching the color so that my e-ring diamond does not look different. Thoughts?

Yap, match color, 2 grades off is acceptable. Clarity, SI is fine, but one you get the ring, check each melee to make sure they are not dead.

2 colour grades between centre and accent diamonds is the standard advice, depending on where you shop for the band you want the best looking melee you can get, so ask the vendor to source you some well cut diamonds/ band.

What is a melee? Is that what will make the diamonds sparkle in the channel set band?
