Matata is a MIL! Wedding pics.

First step-son to get married. Venue was Fairmount Chateau at Lake Louise, Canada. We, thank goodness, had a sunny day with temp around 44 degrees for outdoor ceremony.

It was fun having my hair and makeup done with the bridal party and watching her bride's maids help her get ready. Bride asked me to provide the "something borrowed" and she wore my ACA studs and 3-stone necklace.

The dinner venue was gorgeous. Her colors were purple and plum.

The bridal party wore thermal underwear and snow boots under their dresses. We had wool blankets just in case and all of the guests had their ski jackets ready. Luckily, there wasn't a breeze. The ceremony was very short so none of us had time to form ice cicles on our noses which was a blessing because we all ugly cried when the groom wept his way through his vows

No but I wish. Groom and his best buds (who were all groomsmen) meet there for a ski vacay every year. Groom proposed in Norway under the Aurora Borealis and he thought it was fitting to keep the frigid theme going. Bride got to pick the honeymoon spot and they are on their way to Bora Bora. I voted for a Bora Bora wedding
