So here is the Mark Morrell setting that makes me question my love of solitaires(I think the pic is originally from his website). I find it simply stunning. A couple of questions of the experienced PS''rs: does that look like a round or a cushion center stone? What band would you wear with this or is too pretty to pair with anything else? Would love to hear what you all think.

I thought that I had the posting of pics thing down. I was trying to cut and paste one from another PS post but am doing something wrong. Any ideas?

Here you go, and it looks like a round to me. Beautiful! I think some type of eternity band could be pretty, but if you're a minimalist, it could certainly hold it's own!

Here's a link with directions on dragginging and dropping, hope it helps!

Thank you so much, Ellen. I knew those instructions were out there but I couldn''t put my hands on them. I think I''ve got it!

Yay! And you''re welcome!

I would say it is a round center stone, and personally if it were my ring I would wear it with a plain band (I love contrasts)

Gorgeous ring :D

So, SO gorgeous! I concur- looks like a round! And I''d wear it either with a very wee shared prong band, or a plain band. It could certainly stand on its own though!

I too, would opt for the thin plain platinum band. Mark''s work is so beautiful it doesn''t need more bling to enhance it!

Love that band and I think it was made for one of our own-Jadeleaves, maybe?

I just drool over Mark''s work. I usually find that pics don''t do justice to jewelry so I can only imagine what they look like in real life!

I like the fact that his stuff is not dainty but doesn''t look chunky either. Just substantial with beautiful lines.

Ditto. I think it would take away from it to wear another diamond band with it. There is such a thing as overdoing the bling, in my opinion.
