Hey Mara,

I am in on the 8th and out the 9th at lunchtime. I know you are on a trip coming back on the 8th, so I will be no way insulted if you can''t make breakfast...I am sure I will get up there again.

If you want to meet up early for morning coffee, that''s great too. I''ll try to not be my grumpy morning self for ya. I have a 9 am meeting in Mountain View, but am free before that.

TG tell me where you are going to be staying (aka in MV?) and I will see if there is somewhere in between you and me where we could meet up for early morning coffee/bagels or similar. I will totally get up early for you if we can coordinate!

Sorry, I''ve only been there once, so I don''t know the area well. I''m easy and will drive wherever is convenient for you, as long as I can make my 9:30 am meeting.

I'm still game so far...even though I'm a little tired from this NYC whirlwind trip, we come home tomorrow...but I figure I can get up early one more morning this week without issue. Esp since it will be good to be home. I am thinking about where to go...I will post tomorrow evening most likely on where to meet!!! I'm thinking something like a Le Boulanger over near Sunnyvale (near MV) on Matilda I think is the address. They are a bread/coffee/pastry kinda place where we can sit and chill for a while. Let me know if this sounds good and I'll find the address etc.

FG did you want to meet up with us?!?!

oh no worries, i have to get to work anyway that morning so it's not like an extra hour of sleep would rejuvinate me. hahaa. plus i get to 'sleep in' when i get home since i'm going three hours backwards! haha. plus i have all weekend to rest up and we didn't plan much this wkd because of it. so i think we're good...if you are still game. i'm totally flex gal!!

It''s nearly 10 PM here and I imagine if you are not out and about on PS, you must be SO exhausted from your trip. As much as I think it would be a hoot and half to meet you, I will back in the area in the next few months again. I have quite a lot of business here and will have another opportunity to catch up. Perhaps for cocktail hour, as I am guessing you and I both do better in the P.M.

I''ll be up for a bit longer if you decide to hop on and REALLY want to do brekky, but no worries. Rest up, and come back to P.S. your usual spunky, snarky self. P.S. ain''t the same without ya!

Hey TG...okay so I'm home and showered and ready for bed and think I will be more than fine tomorrow morning, esp with gaining back 3 hours of sleep...hhaa.

Anyway, let's meet at Le Boulanger at 305 N. Mathilda Ave in Sunnyvale. Cross street is Central Expressway but I think it crosses UNDER Mathilda so it's not a real cross street, more like a 'landmark' to watch for. Middlefield is right up Central so your meeting is not far and the place is in Sunnyvale which is not THAT large so your hotel should be around there somewhere most likely. I don't know that many wonderful kinda coffee places (barring Starbucks and Peets etc) but this place makes their own bread and has a bunch of pastries and breads and coffees to choose from for brekky.

You can Google it if you want to get a map, the # is also 408.522.5225 in case you need to call to get directions or something. Since you have a meeting at 9 (is that still on??) let's meet at 8am? That'll give us some time without us having to get up at the crack of dawn...hehe. Never a pleasant prospect. Oh and if your meeting is later or you don't have it anymore, let me know because we can meet a bit later then or find a cooler place possible.

ETA...haha I see while I was looking up the place online you were posting. I am still game to meet but it's totally not a big deal to do it another time. It's totally your call but I am flex.

Either way! (though Greg did drink all the milk while I was gone so I can't make coffee at home I just found out, haha)

FG we met up this morning. it was tough to roust myself out of bed earlier than usual, esp after my trip, but i am SO glad i did it. TG is just as awesome in person as she is on PS, of course, i mean what beret-wearing roachslashbackpack wouldn't be?! i can't wait til she comes back on her next biz trip, and we can meet up for drinks and dinner or something where we can continue chatting. 45 minutes was SO not enough time!!

What a ball! It was nice to meet my first PSer...I can't wait to pick off where we left off too. It freaked me out how fast time was flying (I was worried that I'd look down at my watch and realize I missed my 930 meeting or something) but it sure does fly when you are having fun.

God, considering how well we did when we were both exhausted and meeting up for breakfast...well, it scares me to think what a relaxed cocktail hour would have done for the gabfest! I look forward to it.........

ETA: P.S. - still am very sad you didn't show up in a beret.
