Mail smelling like cigarettes?

Three times recently I''ve had mail arrive smelling like cigarette smoke.

One was a cloth item from eBay and I had to air it out for a week because it couldn''t be washed in the washer. Another was a "swap" package from a forum where I swap (items of similar value are traded). I tried contacting the person about the situation and she''s not responded.

Now, a letter arrived in the mail and it really smells. Today the only other mail that came was junk mail.

Just curious if it''s the senders of these items or if my mail man is smoking.

After the eBay item arrived, I complained to the seller and she said it must have been the mail delivery guy. Grrrr!

It was a cloth Stila makeup "traincase," and it grossed me out so much that I haven''t used it. What sucks is that it''s a rare item that isn''t sold anymore.

Yeah best to ask. I have never seen a mailman smoke while on the job...

I have never had any mail smell like cigarettes....
