I have no words. It''s so sad.

Mr. Madoff has some real blood on his hands....

NEW YORK – The founder of an investment fund that lost $1.4 billion with Bernard Madoff was discovered dead Tuesday after committing suicide at his Madison Avenue office, marking a grim turn in a scandal that has left investors around the world in financial ruin.

I agree; I feel for his family. I thought about this story all afternoon. . .

I am heartbroken for this investor. My heart goes out to his family. I will be praying for them. I could say more but won''t because I am so angry.

So am I. At ALL the GREEDY people, that have caused so much heartache and mess in this country. I want to DO something, but I don''t know what.

Is it 1929 yet?

Prayers outgoing for his family.

This is so sad.

My mom complains all the time about low returns compared to what others are offering and I always tell her, "Mom, if someone promises incredible returns and it sounds too good to be true... IT IS." That was a house of cards waiting to be blown down. Unfortunately, it took people''s lives along with it. Spitzer also was bilked... or his family''s real estate firm at the very least.

We haven''t seen the bulk of it yet. Tragic and so sad.

wow
once again, greed wins

I worry about this, it certainly will not be the last sham to be exposed in the coming months.

This is such a tragic loss.

That's so sad. My condolences to his family. It's such a worrying time.

I just heard on the news that Madoff is COMPLAINING that he's too confined staying in his apt.

This, from a man that ripped off his clients, ripped off his friends, and even ripped off his SISTER. And let us not forget, caused this poor man to commit suicide.

And he's getting cabin fever? They should throw him in jail and pitch the key. And make it an extra small cell.

I have no words. The GALL.

I think a better punnishment would be to throw paris hilton in there with him!

I was complaining to hubby that if a blue collar worker commits petty theft, he''ll be in the locker with 1 dozen other criminals so fast that your head will spin. This SCAM guy is lucky to still be enjoying the luxury of his own home.

I know, I seriously don''t get it. I honestly wonder if the judge is a friend of his.

This man has literally ruined scores of lives, and cost one. I do not get it.

Well... you hang out near toilets, you''re bound to run across a couple of turds.

It''s very sad. Did anyone see yesterday''s NYT? Mini-Madoffs are emerging.

Not that article, but I''ve heard of two others in the last few weeks. There were warnings after Bernie that others would surface.

Just another example of why white collar criminals should NOT get off as easily as they do.

Such a horrible thing... There truly are evil people out there

Another suicide.

I have to ask again, WHY isn''t this @#!%#& in jail while awaiting trial?
