M. Martin in Chicago

Hello all,

I was hoping people could share their experiences with and knowledge of M. Martin in Chicago. There are a few older threads on M. Martin already, and most of the past posts on M. Martin are positive. That said, I was hoping people might contribute their knowledge and/or experience in this thread.

About me: I am entering the final stages of selecting a diamond and engagement ring. I want to stick with a brick and mortar store in Chicago. I''ve visited several recommended places in Chicago and concluded that M. Martin (in particular Steve) had both very competive prices and great knowledge of diamonds (much more so than the sales persons you deal with in other stores).

Any thoughts on M. Martin?

Since I''m originally from Chicago, I notice these threads. Also, I was wondering what experience Dee Jay, who''s also from Chicago, and has written here a lot about her experience, had to say. In the process, among lots of potentially good threads, the first 2 I found are good, and I you!

Yep, I made the purchase today. I should be able to pick up the ring in 3 or 4 weeks,
