1.08 carat unheated Luc Yen Ruby - purplish red. From Select Gem. I think it will end up n/s in a bi-color wide band. In person, it's just like the vendor picture.

Thanks for the kind comments - it really is a pretty little stone.

TL - It has a report from BGL stating no indication of heat treatment. They didn't use LIBS, but with no evidence of heat, it is unnecessary.

It's been looked at by a knowledgable GG here (former GIA) and they confirmed no heat.

I apologize, but my pictures are useless and ugly (not just of stones! ) but when it's set, I'll make sure there are some shots taken.
