Even though I had heard about quality issues with Tacori from several jewelers I knew I still wanted one after looking at rings for months. I wanted something unique. Well I am overall happy with my ring it still stands out from most people''s. But my biggest complaints about Tacori is they took way longer than an average made to order jeweler. They told us 5-6 weeks but it was almost 9 weeks when I finally got my ring. in the last few weeks they kept telling us next week. than that week it was next week again. My second complaint is that what people say about the quality is true. The actual engraving and details on my new ring were not near as nice as the same ring in the picture on the internet. The one used to represent the ring on the photos has much deeper and more defined engraving than on the ring I received. Still my ring is beautiful and I love it but they really should put the same effort into every ring as the model ones. They most def need to improve in their detail work.

I''m sorry you didn''t have the best experience with Tacori. Tacori rings are so beautiful to me, I would love to see pics of your new ring.

I''m sure many Tacori''s are made well and we mostly hear about the bad experiences, but it''s unfortunate that you''re one of them. It''s dissappointing to have quality issues from a designer name since people expect it to look like what they ordered. Tacori rings are not cheap, consumers are paying the designer sticker price and they should get the designer look of perfection. Also, if it takes 9 weeks, another reason it should look perfect! Unfortunately, I doubt many consumers are as detailed as pricescopers and expect perfection. Hopefully others will notice and Tacori will need to get it together.

I would voice your concern and ask them to remake the ring to match the picture. You paid for it, so you should be happy with it.

I wouldn''t pay for something I was not happy with. Make them make it right!

Their settings are not inexpensive by any stretch. If you are not satisfied, you have a right to go to them about it. I would, after spending that much money on a setting!!!

Here is a pictures of my ring. Didnt realize it was so hard to photograph jewelry. sorry its not more clear. Anyways when you compair in to the designers photo bellow you can tell slight differances in the look. Especially the side designs that look different. In fact one of my coworkers told me the heart on my ring looks like a pretzel and now people joke that I got a pretzel ring. well wanting my ring to be perfect like everyone else I was upset for a few days over this. Thats when I went home and looked up the picture of the ring on the internet again and realized that my ring was slightly different and looked sloppy compaired to the model picture. Not only that but my jeweler sized me wrong and the ring was too big and would fling off so I was upset over that too. well I didnt want to have to deal with tacoris slow service time for service so I went with sizing beads instead. I am slightly dissapointed. My ring is beautiful but could have been a little more so. I guess I just dont want to have to deal with tacori anymore. I waited 6 years to be popped the questions so 9 weeks for my ring seemed like an eternity. I guess I am just posting this to let people know what I have experienced with quality of these rings so they can use their judgement. In fact I even had a hard time finding many retailers. Several jewelers told me they stopped carrying tori because of similar issues. So I would just advise people wanting tacori to definatly view the item in person and when you recieve your ring make sure it looks like the model and not any less in beauty or quality.

Here is the same ring from their online catalog. Same ring but slightly differant. You can see the quality differances.

if you really love the style i would have your jeweler go to bat for you and have Tacori remake them. there are a few stories here of gals having to have their tacori''s remade but they did finally turn out right. My local jeweler actually stopped carrying Tacori for the same reason. the quality of rings coming in was so poor and he got tired of disappointing his customers which in turn reflected poorly on his business. I really am sorry and would be so sad to have waited 9 weeks only to have to send them off again.

I can see what you are talking about from the photos. The indents on the heart go down too far, and the engraving on the top of the ring is not as as deep or intricate as the photo. If you are upset with it, I would consider taking it to the jeweler, maybe they can push tacori to move faster or discount the ring slightly. It''s worth a try, because you don''t want to dislike the ring you give her. However, don''t get me wrong this is a beautiful ring! I''m sure she''ll be happy to have it!!! Or maybe you can ask her thoughts about it after you propose. Perhaps she doesn''t notice details as much and is not bothered by it. This is unfortunate because tacori settings are pricey, they should be done well!
