I'm such a newbie, still learning all I can about the different shapes, since I'm interested in a few and I need help looking for reputable on-line diamond sellers who have actual pictures of the diamond. I know James Allen has photos, but who else? I tried searching in older forums and threads on this matter, but couldn't find anything. If anyone can direct me to a similar thread, or have other websites for me with real pictures, that would be great.
Back story? I'm currently looking into cushion shaped diamonds. From what I hear, please suggest differently, if I'm wrong, there is no way to tell if the cushion looks more antique with defined facets or if it looks more like crushed ice (radiant like) without seeing an actual picture of the diamond. Also, from what I've read, it would be nice to see an actual picture since cushions supposedly retain color a lot more than any other shape.
Just in case, if there aren't any websites, is my only choice to actually buy it from my jeweler? I know they said if I get the Tacori setting and diamond together, they can discount the diamond, but I wonder where I'd get the better deal, from them with a discount or on-line.
