Looking for diamond expert advice in Melbourne, Australia

I have bought engagement diamond ring.

Now I am looking for independent diamond expert in Melbourne, Australia who can give me his opinion about my ring. I just want an independent opinion to make sure I was not ripped off.

I want get answers on the following questions:
- I need a confirmation that my diamond and GIA certificate match.
- I need someone who can show me my diamond under the microscope and show where GIA number inscribed
- I need a confirmation that my diamond and ring are brand new, and not second hand/refurbished/re-polished, etc.
- I need a confirmation that my diamond in good condition (not damaged, scratched, chipped, etc.)

Can you recommend someone?
How much this sort of service will cost?

Bumping this up. I'm looking for an appraisal and hoping to find someone that will be able to include an ASET image (or at least be prepared to include the images I already have). Also not looking for a hugely inflated valuation. No luck so far

Have you talked with Garry Holloway in Melbourne? He is a retailer and may not want to work with you personally, but if not I would suspect that he can steer you to a local appraiser.
