Hi,

I''m looking to upgrade my current stud earrings, which are .50 TCW, to a larger pair, hopefully .80 TCW (or larger). My budget is $1,500, but may be able to go a few hundred higher for the right pair of earrings.

Since the amount I''m spending is on the lower side, I''ll be planning to have the diamonds set in white gold . . .

It''s been almost a year since I''ve even looked at diamonds/prices. What exactly can I expect for my budget? I was looking at the Whiteflash Expert Selection Ready-to-Go, but am weary because there isn''t an image of the diamonds. Would that still be my best bet given what I''m wanting or would should I be hunting through the search engine?

I REALLY want a fabulous pair since it''s been nearly four years since I''ve made any serious jewlery purchase and I probably won''t make another for another four years!

Help!

I would seriously recommend getting the ACA or expert selection stones so that you can upgrade them again in the future! You can''t upgrade the ready-set-go studs. I got mine set in the plain wg baskets and they are great! I''ll look and see what might be available.

Thanks for checking. Last night I tried a search, but didn''t come up with much. Guess I''ll keep an eye on what they get in.

Yeah, I had to watch for awhile, but they eventually got exactly what I wanted. They get new stones in around every 6 weeks or so. Good luck!

Yeah, I''m looking at the stones again right now and am really tempted just to order them right now!

My anniversary is in two weeks, so it''d be great to have new earrings for the vacation my husband and I are going on.

Hi! Another vote for ACAs or ES stones from WF... maybe you can get close to .80 tcw and you also have the option to upgrade later if you want. I recently got .34 in each ear in white gold martinis, and paid about $1200 for the set. I have worn them almost every day since I got them and I love them. I do wish they were bigger, but I think the size is very noticeable and great for every day, as well as fitting comfortably in my budget. Also, I was hesitant to spend too much on earrings because I tend to lose them (although I am uber careful with my studs and I have them insured as well). Anyway, if and when I''m ready to upgrade, WF has a great policy. Good luck and I hope you enjoy your earrings!

Another vote for ACAs or ES stones from WF so you have the option to trade up in the future. I bought a pair of ACA studs from WF a little over a year ago. It was so fun choosing diamonds. Hope you don't have to wait too long to find two diamonds you love in your price range. Happy shopping!
