Looking for an emerald cut .90-1.0 ct under $4000

My youngest son would like to propose so we were going to get a lovely ACA round with pear side stones. Now the potential bride has decided she found her dream ring at a local jeweler. It's a 1.0 ct emerald cut with trapezoid sides and knife edge with pave. Emerald cuts I know nothing about. I am showing a photo of the setting, no specs /paperwork included $3500. She quoted $7000 for a uncerted 1 ct emerald cut. dear son knows that's crazy. Please help me find something similar as WF does not specialize in emerald cuts. I have asked them to look and get me a quote but what can you find? His original budget was $6000 but he can stretch a bit.

Ok so. Several questions.

FIrst, is the setting pre-made? If so please have him ask the measurements of the head. If it's a 5x7, then we are going to need to try to get as close to that as possible.

If it's NOT premade then that gives us more leeway.

But with fancies you can't go by the carat weight. You need to know what the dimensions of the stone the head will take.

Found out this is a Tacori setting she is offering for $3500, elsewhere $4-6000. Still waiting to hear about the head size.
