Great site here, getting quite ''schooled'' on the rock part. Only wish I had found it earlier. Kind of have an approaching deadline for an E-ring (we already have a wedding date and ‘hall’ booked, yup a little backwards).
Anyway digesting what I can as fast as possible looking for the ‘best fit’ ~1c princess (her direct request).
The BIG problem is finding a setting she will love, I’m sure a flat band will do the trick. So far this is the only one that jumps out at me.

Yeah, I know … some of you are not hot on Union.
If anyone has seen anything like this at the other ‘favored’ vendors please let me know. I’ve checked out WF and a couple of others with no luck. Oh and no Dimend Scassi please, I’m in IL with no interest in paying those taxes (yuk).
TIA..

Here is one that''s similar to the one you posted...
ring1
If you don''t like the brushed satin look, i''m sure they can do one that''s polished.
Here''s another that is a simple trellis design
ring2
Here is one from James Allen... A little bit less expensive than the others...
ring3
In fact, you may want to look through the James Allen site, they have a lot. Good luck!

Hi pablop.

Not sure where to get that exact setting, but would something similar, yet slightly different interest you? This is from Vatche, and both Goodoldgold and windfield's carry that line. I think a Princess would look sharp in this myself. Just a suggestion! (not sure what your budget is either)

I'm going to search around here, I think someone has this setting, let me see if I can find it.

ETA Here's one, with a Jubilee in it, but you get the idea. There's some nice shots of it.

Thanks for the replies.

Tuckins1:
That one from Knox is beautiful, a little spendy since it seems to require a full carat though, i’ll check with them on that.
They have several that have the elements i was looking for, a flatter more rectangular band, simple design, symmetrical. If this one was available w/o the engraving, it would be perfect.

This one i like alot too, even simpler, but some flatness to it to match a ‘square’ stone.

Don’t know why, but i’m just not feeling crossing trellis designs. Too curvy & ‘busy’.

Ellen:
GOG has one i like even better.

Only problem is, prices aren’t listed and they don’t werk Mondays.
With the raves i’ve seen i’d like to throw them my business.

Trying to keep it under $4500.
With the stone i can go a little under weight, SI1 maybe 2 is no problem either as her eyesight isn’t the greatest. Focusing on cut, symmetry, polish and color.
Oh and of course depth > table, etc.

Still digging the setting from Union though. If i end up getting that i’ll need to consult on my stone choice here for sure then.

For the diamond, see what GOG has to offer, they often have lovely hand selected Princess such as AGS0 cut grade, or some carefully chosen GIA Princess.

Knox does quite a bit of custom ring designs - I would check on the rings you like and ask them to modify to suit your taste. Their shop is closed Dec 25th - Jan 12th though!

Thanks red:
Between expensive settings and being gone untill well into the new year, i think i''ll have to pass on Knox. Sometimes too many options is, well ... too many options.
Think i found the original mount i was looking at from Union at Solomon Bros as well.

For a $100 premium though....
Would their diamond selection or service be that much better?
