Looking for a Halo Pendant

Hi- Coming to the experts looking for a Halo Pendant setting and yes I will need the diamond as well. I looked at the one from WF and I like the setting but I want milgrain edges. I know everyone says Leon Mege is the best and his work is out of this world (I have drooled looked at his pictures) but I am not sure I can afford him. Well I guess maybe I just need to save up for several years.

But I definitely want the pendant to hang from the sides like WF pendant, milgrain like Leon Mege so is this what I want. A definite antique vintage feel like my name.

And also I live in L.A. so I just am still not comfortable working with someone over the phone. I have not seen a Leon Mege halo pendant. Is there one on this site? I am use to having everything here local in L.A. and Leon is in NY. Any help anyone can give would be appreciated.

And I checked Leon''s site and he recommends whiteflash, adasco, bbuctting for diamonds. I am looking at getting a 1 carat round good color (F-G), Cut (Premium), Clarity (S-1)- the bank needs to cut back at some spot. Please point me in the right direction with diamonds as well . Thank You.

why don''t you have WF do the milgrain? it should be easy enough.

PRose, it's no problem to add milgrain to that pendant if you wish.

Since you''re in LA, if you''d like to work with someone locally you could try Single Stone. They''re making my w-band, and I''ve heard their work if fantastic.

I know Single Stone in the Jewelry Mart, purchased an antique ring from them and heard they were very expensive in their custom work. Maybe I am wrong, or maybe because it is just that for me retirement is coming nearer and I am trying to save versus spend. Here is another question for pendant experts.

Now that I have put it out there I was going to look at buying a one carat, I am wondering if with the halo this is the right size? I know it is personal taste but I plan to wear this pendant everyday and will probably have the chain at around 15". My diamond stud earrings are 80 points each. My antique filigree platinum wedding ring (I will get a picture up) is a 1.75 center probably three total.

Being older, I don''t want something too small but yet, I am past being dainty as well. I remember when I got married and my husband bought my first wedding ring and I didn''t want a carat diamond. It looked so big! Why didn''t someone smack me.

I hope I am making sense here. I am not saying I am a larger woman ( I am 5''5"-140 lbs) but again I just want the right size.
