Hi everyone. I''m looking at a diamond at GOG, and I was wondering if anyone could enlighten me about the inclusion and if it might be visible to the unaded eye and if it would cause problems mounting. It''s at http://www.goodoldgold.com/0_56ct_e_si2_h%26a.htm

It''s a H&A 0.56ct E SI2 for $1840

Thanks for your help.

None of us will be able to let you know w 100% certainty - your best bet is to call over to GOG - they'll take a look at the stone & let you know for sure

I agree w/above poster regarding a quick phone call.

But here's my guess

The numbers, idealscope, and the brilliance scope all seem to point to a very nice bright diamond.

My SI2 has similar ratings on a brilliance scope - athough my inclusion is not exactly like yours - I can NOT SEE IT AT ALL in my setting.

I think what you will find is that this particular stone will look beautiful - and the inclusion will be very difficult to spot.

Just FYI... having an inclusion that is easy to spot under a loop/magnification made me feel 100% better about leaving it with a jeweler to be re-set. I *knew* it was mine with a quick check of the loop when it was given back to me.
