Fun thread! Just snapped this awesome shot from my office window with the Empire State Building in the background. What's the most iconic place your bling's been?

NYC ! Pretty shot! I'll be there in a few weeks.

This pic is from last fall, but I should be posting an updated version in a couple months when we go back :kiss2: I basically live for travel.

What a pretty ring and terrific pic!!! Unfortunately, I really don't travel with my jewelry. It's because I'm super sentimental and would be devastated to lose a piece. However, I think you've inspired me to be a bit more adventurous. Perhaps I'll take some pics this summer.

Hehe I have no shame taking bling pics while out and about on vacation
I agree with DiamondGirl21 though, I tend to leave my really sentimental or expensive pieces home.

I was in Paris a few week ago but I didn't wear my ring to Europe.

I've worn my rings throughout EU several times and have never had any issues. I just tone it down by only wearing my e-ring with one simple band/no stacking or "extras". On the rare occasion when I've found myself in a questionable neighborhood, I just flip the e-ring around. And probably the only benefit of my chunky knuckles is it makes it impossible to get these rings off without my noticing LOL I do worry about DH's band though...he wears it a bit large for comfort and has more conical shaped fingers, so it comes off fairly easily.

I found this pic from my honeymoon almost 32 years ago. I'm wearing my Aunt's diamond earrings (she had no fear wearing or lending jewelry for trips), my wedding ring, a diamond and amethyst ring and gold bracelet (my husband purchased on the trip). I don't remember which island is in the background. Probably St. Thomas or Martinique. I'm so glad you posted this thread. I'd forgotten all about this pic. 20190531_091515_24930535658143.jpg
