I was the high bidder on this one today. . . looks like it will be a nice one. . . anyone else ever purchased anything through liveauctioneers?

LiveAuctioneers is truly a crap shoot. It's an Internet clearinghouse that isn't making the slightest effort to be consumer-oriented. So the quality of the buying experience there is going to be solely determined by each participating auctioneer's terms, accuracy in description, etc.

To be honest, I never would have considered bidding on a non-returnable, "as is" diamond from an outfit that also sells off firearms and Florida farmland. But maybe you've lucked out -- hope you'll post pics once you receive it!

Yes, that's exactly why I thought this might be a good thing because it's not coming from an outfit that typically markets these kinds of things. I will be sure to post once I receive it. If it is what it appears to be, not a bad buy at $200. . . but come to think of it, buying this from an outfit that sells off Florida farmland and firearms makes me feel a tad dirty. All I saw was what appears to be a nice cut. . .
