Light Yellow OEC remake

This is definitely 3rd time lucky!!!
Love the rendition of it...
The prong setting makes it look like a star or snowflake, and potentially even bigger than the .65ct O colour OEC.
Two toned ring. The head is 18k WG and the band is 18k YG.
The profile has 2 hierglyphics representing my mothers maiden name and my dads name. G and C respectively.

I am sooooooo happy that it has finally come to fruition, given the history of this diamond and ring!!!
It is taking pride of place on my right hand as opposed to the Asscher and carre set at the moment.... Flavour of the month!!!

Glad you noticed the difference- it is mainly the prongs that is the visual difference in the photos.
The first 2 remakes from the same jeweller had set the diamond incorrectly, once too high which meant that the head had to be remade. the second time diamond was set at the right height but the table was lopsided and gave an airline on one side; the symbols were then lifting off the ring, the white gold bled into the yellow gold. The ring and diamond spent more time at the jeweller than in my possession. Fortunately, they gave a full refund. see this thread.

I was a little disheartened for a while. it sat in my drawer for a bit.
I found a local jeweller here to do it for me. it was easier dealing with someone local than trying to explain over the phone and drawings and sending it back.

So am really happy!
