I dream like a crazy person. Every night. They are very vivid and I remember everything. My SIL wants me to start a blog documenting all my dreams. But I'm too lazy for that :)

Last night, I had a dream that Adam Levine and I got it on.

The other night I had a dream that my family took a trip to India and my dad sold me to a rich Indian man as a slave so that they could have enough money to get back to America. Rawr...

Do any you have dreams every night that you remember?

OMG, what a cool thread idea! And then a psychoanalyst PSer can give us some reviews :cheeky:

I will try to have some worthwhile dreams to add here. Nothing good lately.

My brother though, he has some cool dreams. In one of his dreams he was talking to forgotten gods, like the gods that are no longer worshipped. They were telling him what happens once you're no longer worshipped, etc. There was a whole philosophy there. I have a very philosophical brother ::)

Edited to add: There is one nightmare-type dream I've been having my whole life... walking up or down flights of stairs (the kind of stairs in old Soviet apartment buildings) and falling through. Broken staircases, missing steps... ugh. Hate those dreams.

I used to dream a lot and I would remember the dreams when I woke up but they were usually really stressful. I started taking melatonin (very low dose) a few months ago and I still dream but more often than not I wake in more of a blissful state mentally. I guess it has helped calm my mind before sleep comes and therefore my mind is trying less hard to work out whatever is going on in my life?

I was talking to a guy who lives at a monastery here about the dream state, meditation, etc. yesterday and it was so interesting.

YT...you didn't dream about me?... :naughty:

I also have dreams every night in full color that I can remember a long time after I've had them. Most recently, that WF had a 2.5 carat asscher for 5k

On a more serious note and I have this dream every couple of months. That heaven was in my parents first house and God was on His throne and then the devil was coming up through the floors with all his demons and everyone but me went up to the second floor (again through the floors), but for some reason, even though I was white like all the angels and God's radiation, I couldn't go through the floors and the devil caught my foot and kept me down. I wake up sweating every time and I've definitely read into it and looked into it, but I still have this dream.

Another one from like last year (i actually can't remember it), but I was laughing so hard IRL because of my dream I woke up DH.

Full color, I can fly, I can control my dreams, I can morph/melt whatever into things to hide. I can "think" in my dreams, I can be several people at once, like have different points of view and everything. I swear a lot.

Great idea for a thread YT! I cannot wait to hear other PSers dreams.

Sometimes I can remember my dreams but more often than not when I wake up I seem to immediately forget them. Though many times while I am dreaming I *know* I am dreaming and I can change the direction of the dream.

Would it be a surprise to hear that I often dream of diamonds and other blingy things. :cheeky:

I'm so glad to hear that I'm not the only one! For the past six months about two times a week I dream about asscher diamonds. It's ridiculous. I've always loved step cuts but hadn't considered asschers (because I like finger coverage and I wear a size 7 so I'd need a 3 carat +). But now I think maybe it's a sign!

I have always had vivid and crazy dreams. When I was younger they were very often me trying to escape from some villain but becoming immobile and unable to get away. As I got into my 30s they've changed to much more enjoyable dreams. Yay for growing up!

Oh me too! Crazy and extremely vivid! I remember them for a few hours after I wake up, but then forget them. I'll try to post in the mornings when I have some next time.

I never remember mine. :-/

I had this really weird dream the other night that I worked for Howard Stern and I was driving him to the airport, and all these strange things kept happening to keep me from getting there and he kept yelling at me! :D

I've also had dreams where I'm flying (fun!). I dream a lot about houses, too...my most common one is we've bought a new house, and once we move in it turns into a dump.

I just posted about this in LIW, last night I dreamt my BF proposed (yay!) but with a HIDEOUS ring! It was truly awful haha, it wasn't even a proper engagement ring but one of those weird costume rings that kind of goes up your WHOLE finger if you know what I mean, I don't know how else to describe it. It was like weird carved metal with parts of it painted blue and black it didn't even have any diamonds!! Truly awful. In my dream, I told my BF I didn't like it and he was really really upset, so I ended up having to wear it as my e-ring! I hope it wasn't some sort of sick premonition

Ha this is me too. I also speak Spanish a lot in my dreams (even though it's my second language) I have lucid dreams, but my brain is a jerk. What I mean is, for example, in a dream say I'll be chased by someone. I'm scared for a moment but then remember "oh, this is a dream so I'll just make myself fly away", but then maybe I can only bounce, or I'll fly but only do a few seconds at a time. In other words, I am controlling my dream, but not entirely. My brain fights back haha.

One reason that I believe I remember my dreams so well is that I have a photographic memory in real life. I also have somewhat eerie psychic dreams. For example I'll have a dream about someone from years and years and years ago that I no longer speak to, someone I haven't talked to in ages. Then I'll wake up and look them up and find that they just had a baby the day before or something. One night I dreamt about my high school boyfriend that I hadn't seen in 8 years. The next day his dad called to tell me that he tried to kill himself the night before. Freak fest...

I had a dream last night that was one panic attack after another. The visuals on the tv gave me a panic attack, looking out the window gave me a panic attack. I went to the kitchen to cook and one of the gas burners on my stove top wouldn't turn off. I didn't know what to do. Wellington, my youngest cat, looked up at me and said, "Mom, your having a bad dream." And I woke up.

One of these days, either your wife is going to kill you. Or she is going to kill me.

I'm really not that big a fan of asschers, they're too chunky for me and loose far too much mm! I literally thought in my dream "well, I don't really like them, but a 2.5 for 5k sounds pretty good". a 3ct sounds nice though!! Will you be getting one soon? :naughty:

 I think it'll be him, for proximity if nothing else!

I only remember my dreams when I have my period. It's how I know for certain when it will start.

When I was younger, I had the same dream over and over. At one point during the dream, I would realize I was dreaming and then it turned into a sort of "choose yor own adventure" thing. Because I always died at the end of that dream (so the rubbish about dying IRL if you die in a dream is definitely not true). So each time I realized I was having the dream, I'd try to proceed differently. Until, after having that dream at least twice/week for close to a year, I succeeded. I lived until I woke up. And I've never had the dream since!

I also often know when I'm dreaming and can wake myself up if it gets scary. Can others do that too?

I don't typically wake up when I know I'm having a scary dream, but I'll usually start a different dream.

Everyone's dreams are so cool! It's fun to read what is going on in your heads while you sleep!

I usually can't control my body in my dreams.

Last night I had a dream that a vendor kept bringing in diamonds for me to look at but they kept turning to dust in my hand but would turn back to solid when I would hand the dust over.

I also had a dream that we kept going on Toy Story Mania in Disneyland but it kept breaking down so we had to get off and back on over and over. Never got to play the game. But I was naked. But I was the only one naked so I was embarrassed to keep having to get on and off the ride.

Hahah I agree funny to read the dreams of others! In middle school I had a dream that giraffes were taking over the planet and the only way to stop them was to lick them like - with your tongue haha.

Last night I had one of my least favorite recurring dreams which is that my teeth are loose or falling out. I have that dream when there is something stressful in my life and work as of late is causing me a lot of anxiety. I have that dream at least once a month I'd say.

Last night I dreamt my husband has his way with me on the stairs. We don't have any stairs in our home btw.

So I woke him up and had my way with him and went back to sleep. The end.

I only remember the dreams that lead to an outcome.
