Hi there,
I''m new to this and I''ve spent months driving myself nuts trying to work out how to set my cushion cut diamond. I originally had it set as a solitarie but it just doesn''t do the stone justice. It''s a very pretty 1.6 carat diamond but is more rectangular than square. My husband finally agreed to letting me re-set this after the birth of my daughter so really want to get this right this time.

I have fallen in love with the Tiffany Legacy setting and would love to have it re-set with this and have gone as far as finding a jeweller to do it but I''m so nervous as I can''t find any pictures of this setting with anything other than a square centre stone and would love to have the setting if possible not emphasise the rectangular shape. I can''t afford to make another mistake on this and need some advice.

Can anyone out there please advise.

many thanks

Hi MM,
For some reason, I couldn''t reply to your post earlier - must be cookie gremlins.

Anyhoo, here''s a link to a beautiful Ashoka that has a halo. It''ll give you a feel for what a rectangular cushion looks like with a halo.

I think this ring is gorgeous - it belongs to a member named My Ashoka: https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/my-new-ashoka.74508/
