L color diamond / setting question

Would you put an L color in a Tacori setting?

Or would it be better as an "only child" in a simple solitaire setting? Just curious...

Depends on the shape of the diamond and the style of the setting, a '' vintage'' looking setting with an L cushion I would probably do it!

THIS SETTING FOR AN L COLORED OMC.... I THINK I JUST FAINTED. IT TOTALLY LOOKS GORGEOUS IN MY MIND!!!!

Here''s the other setting I am considering - this is a Ritani. Both settings have double prongs on the corners, and this shank tapers toward the head. (I think the Tacori does as well IIRC from seeing it in person)

I think it would look gorgeous in either, just as long as you are ok with the contrast between the centre and side stones (there will be one, I have a tacori and a L GOG OMC but not in the same ring).

I considered that tacori for my OMC, so it gets my vote

I think the milgrain and vintage-y look of the tacori really compliments the OMCs.

Have you considered the tacori in WG? I think it was around $1200, so that may level things out a bit.

12 is for a round; GOG called Tacori w/ the specific stone measurements (for 18k) and it came in a few hundred higher

I''m torn too.... the Ritani is still cheaper...

Maybe set it in a temp setting (under $200) until you decide?

It''s taken me ages to get my setting right, and I''m still not happy. I wish I just set it in a temp and could make the decision when I am ready instead of feeling rushed and/or having budgetary issues influencing the decision.
