Remember the awesome story about Chili Pepper, the beautiful Ragdoll that needed rehomed? Through PS, Matata found him a GREAT home, and that story had such a wonderful, happy ending!

Well, PS''ers... can we try it again?!

One of my friends (Kris) from the Ragdoll forum has rescued a pregnant cat that she is calling Gracie. Gracie''s not feral; in fact, she''s amazingly friendly. Kris already has a housefull of kitties, and so she would like to find a wonderful home for Gracie and her babies, who are''t born yet. Those kittens will be so well socialized, and so loved, I know they would make amazing, loving pets! They will probably be ready to go in mid-December (depending, of course, on when they are born.)

And there''s also a young male cat (probably Gracie''s son), who they are calling Turtle, who they also rescued. He has been vet-checked by Kris (got a clean bill of health!) and already neutered. If anyone could provide a wonderful, loving home for him, Kris would appreciate that, too. You can contact Kris through the Ragdoll forum, or let me know if you are interested and I can pass the message along.

Here''s some links for more info and lots of pictures:

WOW those kitties are GORGEOUS! Oh I so wish I could take one...I already have three kitties though and I think four would just be too many.

oooh, so cute! I''d love to have one, but my husband would have me committed if I brought home another pet!

I will show this to my friend. She adores cats, and lost one a while ago, The timing could be just right.

Okay, cute overload. I wish I could help out. I''d take Turtle in a heartbeat, but can''t. I know you will find them great homes though. ((HUGS)) and I''ll be watching this thread for more picks. You are a great cat momma and cat friend Lynn.

I love kitties too and these pictures make me want to have more, but hubby and current lovebug, Sammy would nix the idea.

Is Lucy still looking for a forever home, Gypsy, or has she found it with you and John?

oh gosh I wish I could... I have my pets spread over the world thanks to a couple really good friends. I have to ship another of my cats to Georgia in a few months as we''re only taking one to China - but I''m here in Oregon and I will give up some good mojo since that''s really all I have right now... Good luck kitties!

Lynn,

Those kitties are sooooo cute, and like Thing2of2 I already have 3 kitties or I would definitely be up for one. I''m wishing you lots of luck in finding wonderful, loving homes!

OMG, the cats are so adorable! I wish I could take one, but my male cat is pretty territorial, and I don''t think he''d take to adding another cat in the house.

*Update!*

Five beautiful, perfect, healthy little babies have been born to Grace!

Brand new baby kittens!

If anyone is interested in adopting one (or more!

) of these beautiful babies, please see the link in the first post, entitiled "The Rescue Story".

Lynn, I''m glad you updated. I was going to adopt a baby, but I was worried about shipping it cross country since I am SO far from where the owner lives. Thankfully she already had 3 people in line for a baby, so I''m sure they will all get great homes!

Awww, MP, that's OK. I understand. I know you would have given one of the babies a WONDERFUL home, but the shipping/distance thing can be a challenge.

Maybe folks within a reasonable distance of coastal Oregon will see this thread and have room in their families for just one more small, perfect little kitty baby!!!

And I'm tellin' ya'

... these babies should make AMAZING pets. They are starting out life with every advantage. Their mama is a LOVEBUG. And my friend and her husband will take such good care of them, and socialize the babies so lovingly... plus she's not planning to let them go till they are 12 weeks old... so the babies will have all that necessary early, valuable time with their mom and sibs that is so important and simply irreplaceable.

Lynn B - I want to thank you for putting my brain on ''cuteness overload''!!! Those kitties aar soooo cute!!!

I think it''s a wonderful thing you''re doing, helping these precious kitties find good homes!
If I weren''t across the country, I''d adopt one! DH & I are moving next month. We have a 10 year old kitty who I think needs a friend. He''s getting VERY clingy to us in his older age. I mean, he''ll literally follow us around. And we feel bad, because if we''re gone for even a few hours, he is up our butts for attention. I *think* getting another kitty will help. We''re in a 1-bedroom apt now, but soon moving to a 4-bedroom house.
I wouldn''t want to put a kitty through a 3000 mile shipment, though... can your friends move to PA?

I''m sure they''ll all find loving homes!

Hey Lynnie, I''m in PA, too!
