Blah, blah, blah. "They killed xxxx children. My side killed xxx children." "Grab those horrid illegals who dare cut someone's lawn and contribute to society!" And so it goes. It all f***ing sucks. The American experiment has failed miserably and it's sickening and heartbreaking.

These threads really get under my skin, but I have learned a lot. It's also extremely important to share information.

I hate tattletales. Good lord, mind your own business and move on if you're so triggered by some strangers posting on a website.

@missy, You posted pictures of the two beautiful Bibas children who were murdered. Any person with a heart feels terrible for these children and their family.

There were 29 innocent Israeli children murdered.
There were 19,000 innocent Palestinian children murdered.

How on earth do you these look at the sheer numbers of innocent children who have been murdered and not see a stark contrast. How this war started was horrific. The casualties to innocent children regardless of where they live is just as horrific. You have not shown an ounce of empathy or compassion for these innocent Palestinian children. It sickens me. You bring up these two Israeli children all the time. These two children are no more special than all the other innocent children who have lost their lives in this war, yet in your mind they are.

From the looks of it Israel wants everyone in Palestine dead or gone from their country. That’s genocide.

Your post is full of false statements

Genocide is the destruction of any national, racial, ethnic, or religious group. Israel is seeking the destruction of Hamas, a terror group that states its intent to destroy the state of Israel in its founding charter.

Israel's campaign in Gaza is an act of self-defense, and the Jewish state goes to great lengths to prevent civilian casualties.

The goal of ending the suffering of Palestinians in Gaza would be far better served by placing blame for that suffering where it lies...with Hamas - and supporting efforts to bring about its defeat so that Palestinian and Israeli civilians can have the peace and security they all deserve as quickly as possible.

Please tell us where do you get your statistics?
From Hamas?
Do you remember how recently they lied ABOUT 14000 children starving to death?
Totally made up yet so many swallowed their lies
It's almost as if people want to believe the worst about Israel and the jews
Could that be?

You do know Hamas kills their own children.
Uses them for human shields
Sends them to tunnels to build more tunnels where many die a horrible death
They have no regard for life
In fact they do so knowing Israel will be blamed

It is unquestionable that many civilians in Gaza have died and even more have suffered immensely since October 7.
The number of “innocents” vs. terrorists that have died:
This is impossible to know given that the Ministry of Health in Gaza is under the control of and susceptibe to influence by Hamas, and does not separate innocent civilians from fighters in its announced death tolls.

It is not a genocide simply because Hamas could make this all go away.
However what is happening to the jews is absolutely a genocide because if they stop defending themselves and their country Israel and the people there would be destroyed. Killing is the terrorists language. They kill jews. They kill Chirstians. They kill Druze. They kill Hindus. That is what they do

Try not to be fooled and manipulated by the media. They are doing a great gaslighting job for sure. I would admire their deviousness if it wasn't so evil

I notice more and more omissions in reporting. Some examples. Israel is bombing schools and hospitals, yet there’s often no mention of Hamas’s military bases within. Hamas are resisting “occupation”, yet Israel’s complete withdrawal from Gaza in 2005, including the forced expulsion of almost ten thousand Israeli citizens, isn’t noted. Israel invades Lebanon, yet the thousands of rockets shot by Hezbollah, the resultant tens of thousands of Israeli refugees, and the complete failure of UNIFIL to fulfil their mandate of keeping Hezbollah north of the Litani River is ignored. In fact, despite studying the topic daily, it took me many months to discover that Hezbollah had even been firing rockets at Israeli civilians – every day since October 8th, before Israel had even retaliated against Hamas, no less. These rockets have killed civilians yet this fact is rarely reported, or it’s reported in utterly repugnant ways such as BBC’s stunning headline “Israel hits Hezbollah targets after football pitch attack”, published when 12 Israeli Druze children were hit by Hezbollah rockets and killed.

Let me ask you a question
Why do you never talk about the 350,000 children under 5 killed because of the war of terrorists Book Haram in Africa?
Why are you silent about that? 350,000 children under 5
That is a tragedy of epic proportions. :(

These threads really get under my skin, but I have learned a lot. It's also extremely important to share information.

I agree with you Shiny. I feel bad because Ella is overworked and she is forced into the position of being the police of PS
However I do agree it is important to share all points of view
What good does preaching to the choir do?
That won't open anyone's minds
That won't help move us to resolution
it is important to understand and to really hear all points of view
Who knows what changes we could help make in the world if everyone would just open their minds and listen to each other
The goal for most of us is peace
I am pretty sure that is what most PSers desire
And even what most people in the world want to happen
Harmony in the world. Peace
Is it a pipe dream? Maybe but if we don't communicate it can never become a reality and we are no better than the politicians

They sure are. And guess what? Hamas could end this right now but choose not to

Every. Single. Death. Is. On them. And all who support them.

And I call bull on what you wrote. Unlike Hamas and other terrorists Israelis NEVER purposefully kill any children or civilians. Fact

But again this could all end. If Hamas released the hostages. And you know it

@missy
I've respectfully asked you to resist posting this picture before. Of course, it's inhumane and horrific. I understand that fully. But there are some of us who are deeply grieving, and it's always important to respect that as well. We sadly can't solve all the problems in the world, but we should be mindful on a public forum that some things trigger very painful moments.

As tragic as it is, I feel it warrants a bit more discretion.

I’m not trying to cause you distress and I respectfully removed it as my avatar photo when you asked me to.

I felt it necessary to share it in this thread (since all people here are mentioning are the Palestinian children who have died) to remind those who seem to have forgotten that Israeli children are being tortured and murdered. They are innocent and they deserve recognition and respect and to be remembered. Even their father asked for people to share their photos

Both sides need to be shared

I respectfully ask you to skip my posts if they upset you. I do not want to upset you but this isn’t about you. This is a distressing topic and it’s ok for your emotional well being to skip anything that causes you more pain

Hamas are resisting “occupation”, yet Israel’s complete withdrawal from Gaza in 2005, including the forced expulsion of almost ten thousand Israeli citizens, isn’t noted.

There's interesting history here. Following Wiki is a bit about the blockade.

In 2005, Israel disengaged from the Gaza Strip by dismantling all 21 Israeli settlements there.[1] As part of this process, four Israeli settlements in the West Bank were dismantled as well. The disengagement was executed unilaterally: Israeli authorities did not coordinate with the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) to facilitate an orderly transfer of administrative power following the withdrawal of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) from the Gaza Strip.[2] Since then, the United Nations, many other international humanitarian and legal organizations, and most academic commentators have continued to regard the Gaza Strip as being under Israeli occupation due to Israel's active control over the territory's external affairs, as affirmed by the 2024 International Court of Justice advisory opinion.[3] Historically, according to Article 42 of the Hague Regulations and precedent in international law, it has been generally understood that a territory remains effectively occupied so long as a belligerent's authority is established and exercised over it, even if said belligerent does not have ground forces deployed in the area.[4][5]

Proposed by Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon in 2003 and adopted by the Cabinet in 2004, the strategy was officially approved by the Knesset as the Disengagement Plan Implementation Law in June 2004.[6] A deadline was issued for August 15, 2005, after which the IDF began evicting all Israeli settlers who were refusing to accept government compensation packages in exchange for voluntarily vacating their homes in the Gaza Strip.[7] By September 12, all Israeli residential buildings in the territory had been demolished and the 8,000+ Israeli settlers who inhabited them had been removed.[8] The dismantlement of the four West Bank settlements was completed ten days later.

Among Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, the disengagement was met positively in light of earlier skepticism surrounding Israel's intention to withdraw from the territory.[9] Among Israelis, polls showed support for the disengagement in the 50–60% range and opposition in the 30–40% range.[10] The IDF met heavy resistance and riots while conducting evictions throughout the Gaza Strip settlements. Former and future Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu resigned from Sharon's government in protest.[11][12]

Folks, again, this is not a debate about Israel vs. Palestine or religion. This is about a current event that is happening in the US, please stick to the topic.

@Matata I am not ignoring you but out of respect to Ella will not be able to reply. Just remember Wikipedia is not always trustworthy. Two million citizens with full rights who are not Jewish fyi and in fact hold high positions such as judges and the like. That info you shared is false

@Bonfire yes. Absolutely horrific. Glad we agree on that

Just a general comment if I may

A big problem is all the misinformation everywhere. And I can understand if one believes the lies why one would feel the way they do.

It’s a challenge and all I can say to everyone here is please do your due diligence. Try sorting out the facts from the fiction.

Many media sources and organizations (international etc) have ulterior motives.

It’s not always easy to get the truth but if you search and persevere you can find it

Absolutely! You are the voice of reason. This world has gone mad!!!

@Rebel Rebel, I sincerely apologize if my comments hurt you.

A few additional thoughts if I may in the hope for honest and open dialogue
Please read with an open mind
Consider the possibility what I’m sharing is true because it is

You have billions amplifying the fake narrative of “genocide” on every platform.
Every . Single. Day.

You have 15 million Jews, and only a SMALL percent even speak up.
Why? because they’re scared.
Most are professional people.
Most just want to enjoy their lives in peace without fear and hate

You have huge “influencers” watching a few clips of the aftermath of Israeli bombs and calling it a “genocide.”
None of them have watched the massacres of our women and children on October 7th.
The event that started this war.

Additionally, a large number of people actually believe 9/11 was committed by Jews
and not those who literally confessed.
Their evidence…easily disprovable conspiracy theories.

Think about who controls the narrative by numbers alone.
Due to rules I’m not mentioning the groups who control the narrative
But think about it

We, as Jews, have no organization working for the greater good.
No huge influencers or funding. Not a single one that’s actually effective.
The bad guys have hundreds of well funded organizations simultaneously working together in unison.
We not only don’t own the media. We are pathetic at it.
PR is not something we try to be good doing because foolishly we think the truth should be good enough

The Qatari machine has billions to throw at this effort every year, along with a massive media empire
Buying influence, infiltrating every level of our society.Buying belief.
Buying “facts.”
When you finally recognize the truth, you will be horrified.

Individual Jews can be bad, just like any demographic. Of course
However, 99.99% of Jews just want to live their lives in PEACE.
That’s the truth.

Why does anyone have to die?
None of us want this
But one must defend oneself
There is no other option
Unless we’re ok with our extinction
And surprise surprise
That’s not ok with us

If you were in our position
Would that be ok with you?

Thank you for reading and for keeping an open mind
All any of us want, pray for, is peace
This. Is. The. Truth

Folks, stay on topic or this thread will be closed. Last warning.

Missy… please stop speaking for “Jews”
It’s offensive to me as a Jewish person
everyone reading knows how you feel. It just seems like you just wanna shut down every thread and it’s not fair to the rest of us.
Even if you had a point, which is impossible to tell, based on your biased posting, the point would be lost on pretty much anyone reading.

I’m pretty sure @missy has me on ignore. I’m sorry to offend anyone. It makes no sense from a business standpoint. Or a personal one.
But, the time I’ve spent here has allowed me some…. Perspective at a very difficult moment in time.
I’ll start a thread about this. The reason. I’m sponsoring the forum is to give back to the community.
Peace people
I’ll write more soon.

Your perspectives are valuable. People over profit is always the right thing to do.

I see you emailed me after I politely asked you to refrain from contacting me offline.
You ignored my request.
So I’ll post here now to make it more clear perhaps since you didn't understand what "Please do not contact me offline again" means.

Over the years I did not understand why a few people here seemed to dislike you. I can understand now. However, I don’t care to put any effort or energy into disliking you. I have more important things to do in my life and disliking you is way too much energy.

It’s sad you l (and a few others here) are so intolerant of other points of view.
I have to laugh because you preach tolerance (you and a few others here) and you are sincerely the most intolerant people I have ever met.

I’m pretty sure @missy has me on ignore.
I’m now putting you on ignore and I suggest you do the same.
The reason for the delay is my dh and I were out cycling on this gorgeous summer day.

Since my posts upset you I truly feel it is better for your mental health not to read my comments
I suggest the same to anyone else here who cannot handle a different perspective
Just put me on ignore. It's really for the best so you don't get upset

Do whatever you want but I am no longer interested in reading anything you have to say.
I’m at peace with every word I’ve written on pricescope. Every single word

And yes, for the record, more Jews feel the way I do. As do many non Jews.
The great majority feel exactly the way I do
I am very grateful to and thankful for all who care about right from wrong and who have worked to get the facts vs twisted lies
Thank you to everyone who has supported the jewish people and Israel during this insane time. Thank you

For anyone who does not support us
The quote "No one likes a Jew that fights back"
Golda Meir
She was a very wise person
The Jewish people who assert themselves and defend their rights often face negative reactions
I can handle it
What you think of me doesn't matter

Over and out. Bye. Shalom

No need to apologize @Rockdiamond . You said what many of us were thinking I’m sure. Ella has posted multiple warnings here and on other threads as well.
It’s not fair to her or to those that respect the boundaries of the rules, to have these discussions derailed, warnings ignored and ultimately closed down.

Why don't we just take a day or two to let this thread go and revisit it later? We all need to take some time to cool down so that this thread can remain. It's become a personal battle for some and the attacks are ugly to see.

Bc it’s not about a matter of days. The same person has been posting and derailing every thread for the past few months.

I’ve been sitting on the sidelines and not posting but this time I’ve reported the post. To start personally attacking other posters is just not on - just because some do not blindly follow your ideals does not give anyone the right to name call or attack posters.

Same, I went to report and it was already done. I am frankly afraid to post and get attacked. I am not nearly as articulate as some but appreciate those who do keep trying. It's a shame the whole thread gets shut down every time.

Oh no! I hope this thread doesn’t disappear now. There is good conversation here aside from some issues. If it gets locked down at least it’s saved and doesn’t disappear, but I’d hate to see it locked down as well. I’m sure Ella is frustrated that her warnings aren’t being adhered to, but hopefully she won’t punish the whole class.

If that is true then the manipulation seems to be working. Sad!

At the other place I post we can get thread banned for ignoring mod's warnings about going off topic and for poor behavior. The ban from the thread can be permanent or expire after a time decided by the mod. No announcement is made when a poster is thread banned so there's no drama. That might work here to keep threads with otherwise good convo from being shut down or erased. I don't have any idea how the mechanics of that work and it may not be technically or financially possible even if such a thing here would be considered by the powers that be.
