Kashmir sapphire colors

Are there color gradations within Kashmir stones? Is there any difference visually between a lighter blue kashmir and lighter blue non-kashmir stone? Anyone who has either seen these stones, or knows about them, I'd be interested to hear about it.

The question spans the production of more or less reported modern mines, and a great legend of what came before them ... The labs providing origin reports would have studied the characteristics of relevant deposits in depth, so there is some gemmology literature around.

I must have missed much of these news ! Kashmir ruby ... the pinks, purples & a surprising load of speculative heating potentials I am surprised to see on offer at all ...
