Just ordered WF ACA 8-prong martini studs! :)

I just ordered a pair of WF ACA studs...!

They're small - around .3 carats each - so, I'll have to post a pic when I get them.
I hope they don't look *too* small with all of the prongs. But, I'll post a pic when I get them, so you can see what they look like - since I know a couple of people in the past have wondered about ordering smaller diamonds in this setting.

ETA: I know a lot of you think G/VS2 is overkill for earrings... but, my local jeweler will buy back nice diamonds G & above - if I ever decide to sell them to get something else made...

I'm sure they'll be gorgeous. With the 8 prongs, the prongs are MUCH smaller than the regular 3 prongs because they don't need to be as thick to secure the stone in its setting. Also, since these are WF ACAs, I'm sure these can always be traded in for something else.

I have a .81c engagment ring - and got that with 6 prongs... I really love the 6 prongs on my e-ring - so, I'm sure I'll love the tiny little 8-prongs.

In hindsight, I wish I would have gotten a handmade head on my e-ring, instead of the die-cast stock head. sigh. But, I still really like it.

(OMG ellen - that little "woo-hoo" smiley is just cracking me up... hehe.)

i''m looking for a pair of studs (3 prong martinis) and i''m also going for G, VS2. i think it may be slight overkill for earrings but it''s what i personally prefer and will be happy with. i was debating between G or H but decided on Gs. i''m color sensitive and have mind clean issues--regardless of what size the stone is or what it''s being used for. congrats on your purchase! can''t wait to see pics!
