Santa, I've been a good boy.
Can I have one of the new Honda Jets?

LOL! But seriously, that guy knows nothing about airplanes though.

+1

He was the wrong person for that job!

I LOVE my Honda cars.
But Honda's communications with Americans leaves a lot to be desired.

The owners manual for my new 2017 Fit was NOT written by or for native English speakers.
VERY confusing.
Not just the language itself but the whole layout leaves me saying, "HUH?".
Inexcusable!

You'd think by now ..... oh never mind. :nono:

And the Owner's Manual (the old-scool paper book, not a PDF downloadable from the Internet) did not even come with the car. :angryfire:
You have to have happened to have read a certain page in the "User's Guide" which DID come with the car informing you of the existence of this thing called an Owner's Manual, and that you can order the Owner's Manual for free, but only within the first 6 months of car ownership.
Oh Come On! :x2

Are you serious Kenny? Thank of all the questions the dealerships must get on a regular basis. I would imagine it will take about a week to get your manual after you order it. My husband would be so mad.

It didn't take 6 months to get the manual.
You must order it within 6 months of buying the new car, or pay IIRC $60 to buy it.
It took the usual time to ship.

I suspect not giving the buyer the book on paper is a change-with-the-times thing more than a money-saving thing.
The book's contents are available to all online as a PDF file.
I'd guess the vast majority of today's buyers of a Honda Fit (who are not grumpy old men like me) would prefer to read the PDF on their phone and never even touch the paper book.
Then there's the green aspect of saving trees.

But still, it pissed me off.

? I thought you were a Prius guy!

We have Honda Hybrids, but Honda doesn't make a hybrid in which the back seat goes down.
I need that.

It does on the Prius but when I test drove them I didn't like them as much as Hondas.
Plus Honda makes cool jets. :Up_to_something2:

Since I bought the FIT my lifetime average is 35 MPG.
Pretty good.
