Just got a new ring!

My grandfather was one of my favorite people in the world. In March 2009, he passed away. I miss him terribly. He left my husband and I some money. My husband knew that someday I really wanted a three stone ring and we wanted to do something lasting with the money we were given. So, we started the process of buildling a ring. What started in April ended about a week ago. It''s a 1.00 carat center stone with .30s on each side. I have three girls - 10, 9, and 7. This ring will be passed down for many years to come. I couldn''t be happier with our decision. It means the world to me that both my grandfather and my husband both had such a huge part in this ring.

Waitingpatiently, I definitely do not have a small finger size. I''m tall with long fingers and wear a 6 1/2 ring. I think a 2 carat center with .50s on each side would have been perfect for the size of my hand, but alas the budget doesn''t permit!!

Toozy that is a lovely ring and a lovely way to remember your grandfather, I too had a beautiful grandfather and miss him terribly still after 18 years. I have a gold padlock bracelet (topaz heart), this was something my husband purchased in memory of my grandfather for me.
